Fellowship is not a term unique to the body of Christ. With the term itself defined as a partnership, its application can vary. A relationship requires fellowship. Partnership exist within the corporate world between employer & employee. Friendship requires fellowship, as does the classroom where peers collaborate on assignments. The possibilities are endless!
While fellowship is a partnership, there's a reality within humanity that the right person can be in the wrong place. The Prophet Jonah is a prime example of this concept. Jonah was given a detailed assignment at the city of Nineveh but due to his negligence, he found himself on a ship headed to Tarshish.
