"Multitasking"

Vision is invaluable to the child of God. However, vision doesn't transform into reality without execution. Anyone can dream, but executing the dream & vision is easier said than done.

A common aspect of any occupation is one's job description. In this, the individual is clarified as to what expected of them. In contrast, this description creates a variance between what's expected versus what the individuals are willing to oblige.

We've all been there on the job… You've been asked to perform a task that sits outside of your job title & description. What's the immediate response? "I'm not doing that! That's not in my job description!"

In the case of Nehemiah & Judah, many were asked to perform tasks outside of their normal “job description”. In addition, they were asked to multitask in order to fulfill the reality of Judah's construction & restoration.

As was the case then, the same applies to us: To fulfill the vision of God, all at different times must multitask & perform outside of their own expectations. Often times, the need to multitask occurs when opposition arises against the vision of God.

This passage is designed to instill endurance in Christ when facing opposition at the workplace.
