The psalmist in Psalm 139, had undergone this very process. However, he was not alone in his state of inventory. He ensured that Yahweh was present to provide an accurate account of who he was & where he stood with the Creator.
In this Psalm, some difficult requests were made; requests that challenged one's soul but ultimately solidified one's security in Christ.
