All want to be a part of something special. Whether it's a team, group, organization, etc. All want to feel a sense of belonging. God & His church is no different. His desire for all is to be saved & converted but one must realize "the exchange". The account in Mark 8 stresses the philosophy: Salvation is free but the believer must maintain & live according to their salvation.
